Heather Thomas

Heather Thomas is a special education teacher with 20 years of experience working with children with language based learning disorders, dyscalculia, ADHD and anxiety. Prior to joining Sand Hill School in 2014, she taught at Stanbridge Academy, Esther B. Clark School, and for the Palo Alto Unified School District. Her favorite part of teaching is witnessing a student react with excitement and pride after learning a new skill.
When not in the classroom, Heather enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, biking and spending time with her family.
