Devyn Maugel

Devyn has worked professionally as a fundraiser since 2019 and loves giving back to the community. He began his career at Purdue University Convocations, the arts presenter on Purdue’s campus. While there, he managed the unit’s stewardship program and worked closely with the annual giving team to craft strategic solicitations. After moving to California, Devyn joined HomeFirst as the Development Officer, Donor Engagement. While at HomeFirst, he created new donor events and significantly grew the net income of the annual gala. Devyn feels passionate about equity and wants to help all children find a learning environment that helps them thrive. Devyn grew up in Indiana and moved to California with his husband in 2021. He enjoys reading, cooking, going to the gym, and playing tennis.
