Coura Cooke

Classroom Clinician

Hello Folx! You may please call Coura (they/them). Coura got started in mental health 16 years ago when they had recently graduated from Gunn High School. They treated children, adolescents and adults throughout this time as well as earned an Associates Degree in Psychology from Foothill College, a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Social Action from Palo Alto University, and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. Coura has many years of experience providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents as well as their families in a variety of settings including K-12 schools, in the community, in inpatient, outpatient and partial-hospitalization programs. They have worked extensively with clients diagnosed with eating disorders, ADHD, affective disorders and anxiety disorders. They’re so happy to serve the children and adolescents seeking therapeutic services on the Peninsula of the Bay Area in which they grew up. The Bay Area has changed a lot, although one thing is still the same – the importance of self-care. Ask Coura about their favorite coping tools! They look forward to meeting you in person.
