Angelina DeCaro

Meet Angelina DeCaro. Angelina has enjoyed working with children of varying ages, over the past 10 years in several diverse settings. Angelina graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. Prior to coming to Sand Hill School, she worked as an Educational Therapist, engaging with students experiencing a wide array of learning needs. She has worked at Sand Hill School for the past five years and in that time, has taken on a myriad of roles.

Her current role is as a middle school advisory teacher as well as the middle school reading interventionist. She is currently certified as a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner (WDP), but is expanding upon her knowledge, and is enrolled in a practicum program, at the end of which, she will be a certified Wilson Dyslexia Therapist (WDT). She is very excited about this process of specializing her craft and continuing to develop her love for teaching students to become confident readers. When she is not working, Angelina enjoys spending her free time cooking, traveling, hiking, reading, singing and laughing.
