Tara is a lifelong learner and believer in the development of all students. She has been in education for over 20 years as an Educational Specialist, General Education Teacher, Interventionist, school site leader and district leader. Tara is passionate about partnering with students, families and support teams to enhance student outcomes. She values community and belonging, believing that together we can do great things.

Tara is passionate about moving the needle for kids in the areas of social emotional, behavioral and academic progress. She believes in developing plans to support students and families in achieving desired outcomes along with helping teams focus on the positive along with the elements of change. Tara is grounded in empowering those around her to engage in the collective good.

Outside of school, she enjoys carting her two girls to activities, eating Italian food with her husband, crafting, and reading. You can find her outside reading a good book on most days.
