As a bilingual associate clinical social worker, Maryangel brings a compassionate and nurturing approach to her work with children and adolescents, drawing from her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University and her Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Community Practice from DePaul University.

With extensive experience in both community and school settings, Maryangel specializes in supporting young individuals facing challenges with internalizing and externalizing behaviors, while remaining deeply attuned to the cultural factors that shape their experiences. Fluent in English and Spanish, Maryangel offers services in both languages, ensuring accessibility and cultural sensitivity for clients and families.

Her person-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed approach creates a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their emotions and strengths, empowering them to navigate life’s hurdles with resilience and confidence.
