Rachel O'Harra

Rachel is a bilingual therapist at CHC’s Clinical Services South Bay Clinic, providing therapy services for children 6 years and older. She has worked with children, teens, and families in an outpatient therapeutic setting for over 12 years providing individual, group, collateral, and family therapy services. She has previous experience in an educational setting teaching Spanish to preschool, elementary, and middle school students. She is passionate about serving the underserved and takes into consideration each child and family’s unique cultural factors and strengths in tailoring treatment interventions to meet their current needs and work toward their identified goals.

Rachel practices from a client-centered and trauma-informed lens and honors clients’ voices and choices in their care. She has experience working with children and teens presenting with a wide variety of social-emotional needs, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, learning differences, developmental concerns, and adjustment to life changes. She also enjoys working with caregivers to manage stress, implement effective behavioral strategies, and support their children with emotional regulation skills.
